Mechanical Designer (Marine Electrical Products)

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid work with three days required in the office

Salary: $47,000–$65,200 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Create and revise detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, assemblies, and technical documentation.
• Process Engineering Change Orders and Engineering Change Requests accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain product structures, bills of materials, revisions, and documentation in Product Data Management systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams on product updates, supplier changes, cost reduction, and quality improvements.
• Prepare documentation packages for prototype and production activities.
• Support continuous improvement in engineering documentation, configuration management, and change control.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
• At least three years of mechanical design, drafting, or engineering documentation experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Creo, with experience creating and modifying detailed drawings and assemblies.
• Experience processing ECOs/ECRs and managing engineering documentation revisions.
• Familiarity with BOMs, configuration management, and document control processes.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter or similar PLM/PDM software.
• Experience with injection-molded plastic, stamped metal, and machined components.
• Experience supporting marine, RV, automotive, industrial, or electrical products.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
