Human Resources Business Partner - Spanish Bilingual

Location: Riceville, Iowa, United States; primary onsite HR presence at the manufacturing facility

Salary: $64,500–$103,500 per year

McNeilus, an Oshkosh company, designs and manufactures refuse truck bodies and equipment for waste collection fleets.

What you will do

• Partner with plant leaders and supervisors on workforce, talent, engagement, and organizational priorities.
• Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance management, attendance, corrective action, and employment practices.
• Investigate workplace concerns, support conflict resolution, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Support talent development, retention, onboarding, staffing, workforce planning, and recurring HR processes.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on compensation, benefits, learning and development, and other HR programs.
• Use workforce data to identify trends, address challenges, support decision-making, and improve the team member experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of Human Resources experience across multiple HR disciplines.
• Experience with employee relations, performance management, talent processes, and core HR activities.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or other operational environments.
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, build trusted relationships, coach leaders, and use workforce data to support decisions.

Nice to have

• Spanish and English communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing in both languages.
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations.
• Experience as an onsite HR partner or independently supporting facility-based leaders and employees.
