Transportation Hydraulics Designer/EIT (Civil Engineering)

Location: Cincinnati or Columbus, Ohio, United States

Salary: $52,500–$86,250 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with project engineers on detailed urban and rural roadway designs.
• Develop roadway alignment, profiles, geometrics, drainage designs, plans, and construction estimates.
• Assist with technical reports, specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Support additional project and design activities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate preferred; candidates without an EIT may be hired under a Design Coordinator job code and expected to obtain the certificate for career progression.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Local candidates are preferred.
• Active participation in an employee-owned, collaborative culture.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bentley ConceptStation, OpenRoads Designer, Autodesk InfraWorks, or Civil 3D.
• Experience in highways and roads engineering.
