Accounts Payable Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States; on-site full-time

A manufacturer of commercial kitchen ventilation systems and integrated HVAC equipment serving the industry for over 40 years.

What you will do

• Review, verify, and process high-volume vendor invoices, payments, and related transactions.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors, purchasing, receiving, and operations.
• Maintain vendor files, W-9 compliance, general ledger coding, and cost-center allocations.
• Support month-end AP accruals and reporting.
• Identify workflow improvements, automation opportunities, and reductions in manual processing.
• Support ERP and procurement workflow upgrades while maintaining internal controls.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and deadline management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience.
• Experience with OCR, invoice workflow automation, ERP implementations, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Solid Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, filters, and pivot tables.
• Knowledge of sales/use tax, freight invoicing, and AP practices in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
