Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Full-time, on-site position in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. The office is scheduled to relocate to Heiskell, Tennessee, in early 2027.

Salary: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience, plus an annual profit-sharing bonus.

What you will do

• Issue and process purchase orders and invoices.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors and Project Managers.
• Maintain vendor records in COINS ERP.
• Ensure expense reports are completed on time.
• Support monthly and annual closing, reporting, and compliance with company procedures.
• Assist the AP Manager, Controller, and receptionist as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience in construction accounting is preferred.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred; equivalent AP experience is considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Knoxville, Tennessee, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
