Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States; full-time on-site role at Fort Lauderdale International Airport

Salary: $82,900–$134,300 per year

What you will do

• Guide Site Supervisors and coordinate daily maintenance operations.
• Manage personnel scheduling, work orders, productivity plans, and cross-utilization of work groups.
• Oversee baggage handling and conveyor system maintenance, troubleshooting, emergencies, inspections, and training.
• Maintain communication with customers, airlines, TSA, and airport authorities.
• Manage operational documentation, HR administration, invoicing, and contract requirements.
• Promote safety compliance and support 24/7 service coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of supervisory or managerial experience at a large hub airport.
• Extensive experience with Baggage Handling Systems, conveyor systems, maintenance operations, troubleshooting, and airport baggage operations.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent and a valid driver's license.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, reporting, and performance-analysis skills.
• Ability to obtain the necessary airport security clearance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds and work around moving machinery, airport ramps, vehicles, aircraft, and confined spaces.
