TL;DR
Project and Contract Management Specialist (Environmental Management): Supporting federal acquisition, contract administration, and project controls for DOE EM Hanford in a regulated nuclear cleanup environment with an accent on FAR/DEAR compliance, subcontract management, cost analysis, scheduling, and risk management. Focus on developing solicitations, evaluating proposals, leading contract file closeouts, and applying earned value management to support mission execution.

Location: Richland, Washington, United States; predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with some remote support approved by the Contracting Officer. Occasional travel is allowed with prior written approval.

What you will do

  • Develop solicitations, evaluate proposals, support contract awards, and administer contracts.
  • Manage acquisitions, contracts, subcontracts, personal property, real property, industrial relations, procurement counsel, and cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR and DEAR requirements and lead compliant contract file builds and closeouts.
  • Support project planning, cost estimating, scheduling, risk management, performance measurement, and earned value management.
  • Provide program and project management support for DOE Environmental Management and Hanford Field Office activities.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of federal procurement or contract support experience.
  • BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience with contract administration, cost/price analysis, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint; familiarity with Microsoft Office and business analysis tools.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office in Richland, Washington.
  • Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required based on the assigned work.

Nice to have

  • DOE or Environmental Management sector experience.
  • Relevant professional certifications.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, or Visio.
