Country Manager, Surgical Vision (Malaysia & Singapore)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, with responsibility for Singapore

What you will do

• Lead commercial operations for the Cataract and Refractive businesses in Malaysia and Singapore.
• Define long-range strategy, annual operating plans, business direction, and resource allocation.
• Drive sales growth, customer-base expansion, pricing, reimbursement, and financial forecasting.
• Manage distributors, logistics partners, product distribution, consignment operations, inventory, margins, and operational KPIs.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the commercial team while building a high-performance organization.
• Build relationships with healthcare decision-makers, government agencies, regulators, key opinion leaders, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Bio-Science, Health-Science, or Pharmacy.
• At least 10 years of experience in healthcare or the ophthalmology industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team.
• Strong understanding of healthcare or pharmaceutical regulatory, quality assurance, legal, policy, and environmental requirements.
• Experience working with multiple distributors and logistics partners, including consignment management.
• Experience with implantable consumable medical devices is preferred.

Nice to have

• Master of Business Administration.
• Experience across multiple Southeast Asian markets, especially Singapore and Malaysia.
• Experience with implantable consumable medical devices.
