What you will do

• Stand up and commission the first Singapore operations facility, including cleanroom, laboratory, and assembly space for quantum hardware production.
• Establish production, EHS, facilities, IT, quality, and operational systems, and transfer manufacturing and test capabilities from the home site.
• Build the Singapore organization from the first hire across production, quality, supply chain, facilities, and administration.
• Develop regional suppliers, contract manufacturers, logistics, customs, trade compliance, warehousing, and inventory processes.
• Establish the local entity and implement required licenses, permits, statutory compliance, export controls, quality systems, and EHS requirements.
• Own the site P&L, budget, capital plan, risks, and performance against cost, schedule, output, and quality targets.

Requirements

• 15+ years of operations or general management experience in hardware, deep tech, semiconductor, or complex electronics manufacturing, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience standing up a new site, plant, or country operation from scratch, including facility build-out, hiring, and process qualification.
• Deep knowledge of the Singapore and APAC operating environment, including hiring practices, regulatory requirements, and regional suppliers.
• Hands-on leadership across production, quality, and supply chain, with P&L and capital budget ownership.
• Engineering, manufacturing, or operations background with the ability to make technical production-line trade-offs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, including building teams from zero and working with cross-functional partners across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience in quantum computing, scientific instrumentation, cryogenics, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience establishing a Singapore legal entity, licenses, and statutory compliance, including work with EDB or comparable agencies.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, export controls, and trade compliance in regulated hardware environments.
• Experience leading operations in a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
