Crane Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Medway, Massachusetts, United States; full-time onsite work in a manufacturing and shipping environment, including indoor and outdoor areas.

Compensation: $18.90–$35.00 per hour, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, performance, and work location.

What you will do

• Prepare finished products for shipment by building and fabricating dunnage, skids, crates, and boxes from wood and steel.
• Move raw materials, work-in-process ihirify.globalory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks while securing products and installing protective packaging.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, rough-terrain cranes, carry deck cranes, and other approved lifting equipment.
• Apply standard crane hand signals and safe rigging and material-handling practices.
• Read blueprints, work instructions, tape measurements, and shipping documentation while maintaining safety, quality, housekeeping, and on-time delivery standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Massachusetts 1B license required and must remain in good standing.
• Valid driver's license required.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required when operating company vehicles or equipment, if applicable.
• Experience in shipping, material handling, crane operation, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to perform medium physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds consistently, in a potentially non-climate-controlled environment.
