CNC Operator 3rd Shift

Salary: $18.00–$22.66 per hour; $1,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Set up, calibrate, operate, monitor, and maintain CNC machines according to standard operating procedures.
• Read blueprints and technical procedures, load raw materials, and supervise automated cutting processes.
• Load and edit machine programs and use measuring equipment to verify parts before and after machining.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure quartz stone meets design specifications and tolerances.
• Operate an overhead crane or vacuum lift to position slab partials on CNC tables.
• Complete equipment safety inspections, troubleshoot issues, maintain an organized work area, and cross-train on multiple types of equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications with precision.
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use basic measuring equipment and perform basic computer, math, and critical-thinking tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary machining education is preferred.
• One to two or more years of machining experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for up to 10 hours with intermittent breaks, bend, and step up to machine tables.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
• Additional machining education or experience.
