American Girl Retail Asset Protection Associate (Seasonal/Temporary)

Salary: USD 18–21.15 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain a safe environment for customers, guests, and store employees by identifying and correcting safety concerns.
• Control and guide customer traffic when needed and provide professional customer service.
• De-escalate challenging situations with customers and employees using clear communication and compassion.
• Prevent loss of company assets through surveillance, employee package checks, and trash checks.
• Serve as a safety mentor for store employees and lead by example.

Requirements

• Availability for evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• One to two years of loss prevention, law enforcement, criminal justice, military, or security experience preferred.
• State-specific license, where applicable.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
• Ability to work with a broad and diverse workforce and customer base, including children, preferred.
• Knowledge of civil and criminal laws related to retail security.
