Surveillance Role Player I

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; recurring field work in urban and rural environments under varied weather conditions.

Salary: USD $18.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct static, foot, vehicle, and multi-mode surveillance of training personnel.
• Perform foot surveillance of up to 10 miles per run and up to three runs per day.
• Perform vehicle surveillance for up to three hours per run.
• Provide surveillance role-playing in direct support of client training.
• Follow surveillance techniques and procedures and maintain vehicle and surveillance logs.
• Use communication devices, GPS, mapping, navigation, and surveillance photo/video equipment.

Requirements

• Part-time availability and physical ability to walk up to 10 miles per day for up to 12 consecutive days or drive or ride in a vehicle for up to 12 hours per day.
• Successful completion of a Basic Surveillance Operations Course.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a 36-month clean driving record.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems, interpret written and oral instructions, and work independently or with teams.
• Ability to determine cardinal directions and demonstrate map reading, navigational, observational, and communication skills.
