Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; full-time, on-site role supporting projects in Central Texas.

Compensation: $164,279.49–$187,747.98 per year

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of large and multiple water and wastewater projects on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents.
• Direct project design, design staff, field positions, construction oversight, quality control, and project safety activities.
• Assess project requirements and develop technical approaches for treatment plant and conveyance projects.
• Manage costs, budgets, schedules, staffing, deliverables, project metrics, and communication plans.
• Coordinate internal departments, clients, municipalities, utility companies, and project stakeholders through status meetings and regular communication.
• Support backlog execution, proposal preparation, client development, and new water and wastewater project pursuits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer registration in Texas and at least 15 years of experience.
• Demonstrable experience designing and constructing water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance infrastructure.
• Experience working with local municipalities and utility companies.
• Experience directing, coordinating, and supervising staff, as well as leading or participating in project meetings.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, teamwork, decision-making, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of scheduling, spreadsheet, document, database, and project management software.
