Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States of America; local candidates from the greater Phoenix area preferred. Hybrid role.

What you will do

• Provide management with P&L projections, forecasts, scenario planning, ratio analysis, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Conduct economic research on returns, depreciation, working capital, investments, and governmental requirements.
• Automate margin variance reporting dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and Tableau.
• Analyze profitability by customer segment and region to support executive strategic planning.
• Build financial models for gross margin sensitivity under changing raw material cost scenarios.
• Prepare and distribute monthly, forecast, trend, KPI, and short- and long-range financial reports.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of financial analysis principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices.
• Ability to independently solve complex problems, evaluate financial data, and exercise sound judgment.
• Knowledge of GAAP and complex accounting systems.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Master's degree.
