Pricing Senior Manager

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid

Salary: $150,000–$210,000 annually if located in Illinois, plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the development of hourly-rate and alternative-fee-arrangement proposals, including financial modeling, benchmarking, and matter-performance reporting.
• Analyze fee arrangements and advise partners on pricing structures, negotiation tactics, and approval policies.
• Support Global Practice Leaders and the Pricing Committee by reviewing proposals and analyzing client and financial data.
• Coordinate the annual billing-rate strategy, benchmarking data, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
• Draft pricing language for RFPs and fee renegotiation materials, collaborating with Business Development on client proposals.
• Improve and automate pricing operations while developing training resources and a high-performing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 8 years of accounting and financial analysis experience, including substantial legal pricing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience, including training and developing business professionals.
• Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
• Strong organization, analytical thinking, communication, judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a large law firm or professional services environment.
• Master’s degree, MBA, or CPA.
