What you will do

• Manage pricing requests, bids, and formal RFPs across Drayage, Cartage/LTL, FTL, and Transload.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to build a more competitive trucking product.
• Collaborate with demand and partner pricing teams to acquire strategic accounts.
• Conduct complex network studies based on volume flows and market trends to recommend future procurement.
• Provide regional procurement teams with data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
• Enable the global trucking team to accurately report on cost and net revenue for all services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, BBA, or a similar relevant area of study.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Solutions Analyst or in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or Private Equity Research.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
• Exceptional technical aptitude and strong desire for learning new technologies and solution architectures.
• A compliance-first attitude for operating within a heavily regulated industry.

Nice to have

• Experience building complex data models in Excel and developing macros.
• Prior knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in market research, building reporting tools, and dashboards.
• Prior experience in the logistics industry or developing strategy for ground transportation.
