What you will do
- Perform welding and structural inspections during fabrication, assembly, and installation activities.
- Verify compliance with approved WPS, ITPs, drawings, and project specifications.
- Monitor and witness NDT activities and coordinate with NDT contractors.
- Conduct fit-up, welding, and dimensional inspections for offshore topside and jacket fabrication.
- Ensure fabrication activities comply with AWS D1.1, ASME, and EEMUA 158 standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years of total experience, including 5+ years after obtaining CSWIP or AWS certification.
- Proven experience with offshore topside and jacket fabrication.
- CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or AWS certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of welding inspection, structural fabrication, and NDT coordination.
- Familiarity with AWS D1.1, EEMUA 158, and ASME codes and standards.
