GRE QC Inspector

Location: Asab, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; project-based site work

What you will do

• Support mechanical quality control procedures under the direction of the Mechanical QC Engineer.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and inspection requirements for mechanical works.
• Inspect received mechanical materials and equipment, including GRE piping, for compliance with approved documentation.
• Perform fit-up inspections and final dimensional checks before installation and welding.
• Witness third-party testing, inspection, and NDT activities and support client inspections.
• Document non-conformances, prepare punch lists, and follow corrective actions through closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with GRE piping inspection in Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of GRE installation procedures and inspection requirements.
• Strong reporting, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to verify that measuring and testing instruments are calibrated and functional.
