AI ML Solution Architect & Developer Manager (AI/ML)

Location: New York City, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC–McLean, United States. Hybrid work is required, combining in-person work in hirify.global offices and on client sites with remote work; travel may include local or out-of-state assignments. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $145,000–$232,000 annually, plus a 12% bonus target. Estimated total cash compensation is $162,400–$259,840.

What you will do

• Design, prototype, deploy, and deliver end-to-end AI solutions for complex client business problems.
• Build and integrate LLM- and generative-AI-powered systems while considering model behavior and product experience.
• Apply cloud infrastructure, security, privacy, authentication, role-based access, and secure data pipeline practices.
• Develop repeatable AI-enabled solutions and functional prototypes with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Establish AI governance practices covering ethical use, transparency, risk management, and auditability.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and supervise Consultants and Senior Consultants while coordinating project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in professional services or industry.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience experimenting with, prototyping, solutioning, and deploying generative AI technology.
• Experience with Python, R, or SQL and AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or LangChain.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, plus big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Direct team leadership experience, including performance appraisals, mentoring, work review, and cross-team coordination.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud-based AI technologies and platforms.
• A professional certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect.
