Associate Specialist, Procurement - Contingent Labor (Supply Chain)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time onsite role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $95,600–$162,400 USD per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage the contingent labor category and support procurement of outsourced and technology services on a global scale.
• Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies with technology partners.
• Analyze industry, vendor, and market data to identify insights, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.
• Collect requirements and lead competitive bidding processes, including RFx events and eAuctions.
• Negotiate commercial arrangements, statements of work, master services agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Drive forecasting, demand management, policy improvements, vendor performance, and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant procurement category management experience, preferably focused on contingent labor or professional services.
• Experience with the Beeline vendor management system and managed service providers.
• Advanced negotiation, communication, presentation, time management, and project management skills.
• Ability to independently research and analyze complex problems, develop process improvements, and present to executive and senior leadership.
• Experience with Coupa, Workday, PeopleSoft ERP, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with labor contracts, managed services contracts, and large outsourcing contracts.
• MBA qualification.
