Senior Project Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set up and close out projects, manage revenue recognition, maintain invoicing quality, and resolve complex billing issues.
• Support billing systems, prioritize work, and maintain accurate billing data.
• Complete month-end close activities, including project revenue calculations, accruals, and general ledger tie-outs in compliance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate internal, external, project-based, and customer-based financial audits.
• Maintain monthly invoicing, cash flow, and working capital forecasting processes.
• Lead process alignment and continuous improvement while supporting credit and collections and collaborating with Project Management, Operations, and Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on project accounting experience, preferably in construction, EPC, or project-based manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Experience across the order-to-cash lifecycle, including project setup, billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and month-end close.
• Experience with project billing, accounts receivable and payable, and the flow of labor and ihirify.globalory costs into project financials.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
