Project Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Houston, TX (TAS-Cullen HQ); full-time on-site role

What you will do

• Manage project accounting for percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, including cost-to-complete calculations, loss reserves, and project segmentation.
• Audit and control financial models to support accurate reporting on jobs in progress.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to project accounting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports and provide ad hoc financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, approval processes, delegation of authority, and contractual limitations.
• Document financial procedures and lead or participate in process-improvement and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, statistics, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of related experience in accounting or project accounting.
• Experience with the percentage-of-completion method.
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, prioritization, and process-management skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a matrix, team-based environment while managing multiple priorities.
