Product Manager - Semi-Hermetic (HVACR)

Location: Sidney, Ohio, USA. Hybrid work is available, with a requirement to be in the office at least three days per week. hirify.global will employ only candidates legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Manage the semi-hermetic compression platform, parts, and electronics across the complete product lifecycle.
• Develop and execute five-year product roadmaps, set development priorities, and manage product P&L.
• Build business cases, define product positioning, and translate market and customer insights into product requirements and technical direction.
• Maintain product information and data integrity to support commercialization, analytics, and digital tools.
• Support value-based pricing, margin optimization, sales enablement, and product documentation.
• Partner with engineering, operations, commercial teams, customers, and stakeholders to deliver and continuously improve products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Marketing, or Business.
• At least five years of related experience in product management, project management, marketing, sales, or engineering.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with customers, stakeholders, and executive management.
• Entrepreneurial and holistic mindset with accountability and autonomy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and strong organizational skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; temporary visas and candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration.
• Experience in the HVACR industry and with manufacturers, designers, consultants, wholesalers, contractors, or end-user customers.
• Expertise in product portfolio planning and product development from discovery through testing and launch.
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
