Sr Manager Network Impvmt & Automation (Warehouse Automation)

Location: California - San Bernardino DC, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: USD 136,000–170,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop a 2–5-year distribution center automation roadmap, business cases, ROI analyses, and capital investment proposals.
• Evaluate and deploy robotics, autonomous mobile robots, automated storage and retrieval systems, goods-to-person technologies, and AI-enabled warehouse solutions.
• Lead automation projects from concept and design through implementation, commissioning, stabilization, and adoption.
• Integrate automation with WMS, WES, WCS, ERP, and transportation systems while monitoring performance and corrective actions.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven improvements in throughput, inventory accuracy, fulfillment, productivity, quality, capacity, and safety.
• Manage vendors, system integrators, consultants, budgets, risks, executive reporting, and a network automation engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, automation, engineering, or logistics.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing complex automation projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project management, vendor management, and cross-functional execution.
• Strong understanding of WMS, WCS, and WES platforms.
• Experience implementing warehouse automation such as ASRS, sortation, robotics, conveyor systems, AMRs, and automated packaging.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• PMP certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Experience with multi-site distribution networks and large-scale capital projects.
