Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Manufacturing)

Location: 670 Hardy Rd, Painesville, Ohio, USA; onsite work on a 7pm–7am 2-2-3 schedule

What you will do

• Diagnose equipment and facility failures, replace defective components, and perform troubleshooting using schematics, drawings, manuals, and testing instruments.
• Repair and maintain pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machinery, automated equipment, controls, panels, relays, and circuit breakers.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical power, lighting, electronic, control, communication, and alarm circuits.
• Perform planned, predictive, and preventive maintenance, complete assigned work orders, and prepare new machines for production.
• Assist engineers and production teams with corrective actions, equipment reliability, quality, safety, and process improvements.
• Maintain shop and production areas, including plumbing, woodwork, masonry, HVAC support, janitorial services, landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• At least three years of previous experience.
• Applicable specialty certifications and licenses, either already held or acquired within the required timeframe.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude, mathematical ability, logical problem-solving skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced, high-participation manufacturing environment.
• Availability for scheduled and spontaneous overtime, including occasional weekends, is required.
