Construction Manager (Aviation)

Location: Onsite in the Austin, Texas area

Salary: $146,678.11–$167,632.13 per year

What you will do

• Manage aviation project objectives across design and construction within approved budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate day-to-day field activities, information flow, costs, schedules, safety programs, and construction quality.
• Provide project leadership and act as the single point of contact for project development and delivery.
• Lead project meetings, facilitate decisions, manage change, and recommend solutions through influence and negotiation.
• Monitor and report scope, schedule, budget, and contractor performance.
• Coordinate contracts, bid packages, QA/QC procedures, inspections, testing, and site logistics with contractors, consultants, designers, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering, architecture, construction project management, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10+ years of relevant civil or construction management experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant leadership experience.
• Experience with commercial and industrial architecture and engineering, with a primary focus on datacenter design and construction.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment.
