Superintendent - Aviation

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time onsite role.

Salary: $108,000–$163,000 per year, depending on location, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Oversee onsite project execution, including access, scheduling, deliveries, logistics, safety, quality, and construction.
• Manage pre-construction planning, schedules, logistics, weekly field updates, and project documentation.
• Coordinate field teams, trade partners, owner vendors, architects, engineers, and the Project Manager.
• Identify and resolve onsite challenges while minimizing schedule and cost impact.
• Lead safety meetings, maintain OSHA standards, and support a safe work environment.
• Manage inspections, punch-list completion, equipment commissioning, owner training, and project closeout.

Requirements

• 6–15 years of experience managing commercial interior and/or internal aviation fit-out projects, or a relevant degree with 3–5+ years of experience.
• Experience managing field operations, scheduling, quality control, and trade partner coordination.
• Solid construction trade background and technical knowledge.
• Experience with project scheduling software, budgeting coordination, and large or complex projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management, prioritization, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and train field personnel and promote teamwork and open communication.
