Aviation Senior Superintendent

hirify.global delivers construction projects and requires a senior field leader to oversee aviation construction work through successful completion.

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and direct-hire work.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, coordinate planning and expediting, and control project costs.
• Set quality-control standards, review drawings and specifications, and manage subcontractor submittals.
• Coordinate meetings, order materials and tools, prepare project reports, and approve invoices.
• Manage punch lists, start-up testing, owner turnover, final close-out, and acceptance.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience as a superintendent in field construction supervision.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of construction trades and specifications, with prior experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting, cost control, and construction problem-solving.
• Ability to travel and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area as required.
