Associate Field Application Engineer (Electronics)

Location: San Jose, California, United States. Full-time, onsite role. U.S. citizenship and authorization to work for any U.S. employer are required; visa sponsorship is not available. Willingness to relocate for career advancement is essential.

Total compensation: $80,500–$101,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support technical account penetration strategies by presenting products and technologies to current and prospective customers.
• Collaborate with customer, supplier, and internal engineering teams on component selection and solution development.
• Identify system-level and component-level design requirements and help address customer engineering challenges.
• Promote supported product lines, deliver product-level sales training, and support new business opportunities.
• Track design opportunities from concept through production and maintain communication with customers, sales teams, and suppliers.
• Help design complete solutions considering product performance, lifecycle, and total cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering or comparable experience.
• Typically less than two years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of business, products, services, the industry, and the sales environment.
• Ability to work within assigned accounts, territories, product lines, or sales processes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Willingness to relocate for career advancement.
