Electrical Systems Engineer

Location: Onsite in North Canton, Ohio, United States; travel up to 20% within the US and internationally as needed.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain system-level electrical architectures for complex electro-mechanical products.
• Define electrical interfaces, power distribution schemes, communication networks, grounding strategies, and system interconnect requirements.
• Create electrical block diagrams, system schematics, interface control documents, and architecture specifications.
• Support design reviews, test-plan development and execution, and technical issue resolution through root cause analysis.
• Design basic electrical components and ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, firmware, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.

Requirements

• 0–4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to work onsite in North Canton, Ohio.
• Experience or familiarity with electrical system integration, testing, and technical report writing.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to use CAD software and relevant computer productivity tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the US and internationally as needed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with UL, CE, FCC, IEC, and other applicable industry standards.
• Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues related to packaging.
