Applications Engineer (Fire Protection)

What you will do

• Become a technical resource for hirify.global products and commercial fire protection system solutions.
• Provide engineering consulting and technical support to customers and sales through calls, email, written correspondence, customer visits, and jobsite visits.
• Investigate field installations, troubleshoot returned products, and prepare root cause reports.
• Develop solutions to complex technical situations using independent judgment and ingenuity.
• Support new product development teams with customer and field feedback.
• Conduct supervised customer training sessions, presentations, and seminars.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, or related systems and components.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, codes, and standards, including FM, UL, and NFPA requirements.
• Ability to use hand tools and precision measurement tools.
• Strong verbal, written, electronic, organizational, and technical documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions; ability to lift within approved EHS limits and work on ladders and scaffolds.
