Field Applications Engineer (Electronics)

Location: Sydney or Melbourne, Australia; remote work available. Some travel across Australia and New Zealand is required.

What you will do

• Conduct technical discovery engagements, sales presentations, product demonstrations, and pre-sales activities.
• Create and deliver technical content for sales and marketing initiatives.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for assigned opportunities and accounts, supporting the sales process and expanding the pipeline.
• Help customers adopt Altium products and increase subscriptions, renewals, and product loyalty.
• Deliver instructor-led customer training and maintain current training materials.
• Develop scripts, video storyboards, project examples, and technical video series while mentoring internal and external trainers.

Requirements

• Electrical or electronics engineering background is desired.
• Experience with Altium Designer is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to understand customer technical and business challenges and provide credible technical guidance.
• Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand.
