Toronto Technology Audit & Advisory (Financial Services) Manager

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid workplace with in-person work at local hirify.global offices and client sites, plus possible local or out-of-state travel.

Salary: $87,000–$137,000 annually.

What you will do

• Advise financial services clients on technology risks, controls, regulations, and opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
• Lead technology audit and advisory engagements, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and delivery of audit work plans.
• Assess cybersecurity, cloud assurance, IT general controls, technology resilience, data privacy, AI and data governance, and enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain client relationships, prepare proposals, and contribute to business development strategies.
• Mentor, coach, supervise, and evaluate Consultants and Senior Consultants while coordinating work across engagement teams.
• Apply analytics, AI, automation, and other technology enablement methods to audit and technology risk activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in technology audit, consulting, assurance, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Experience with IT audit methodologies, process flows, work programs, audit reports, control summaries, and internal control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, or ITIL.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and technology implications, as well as financial services regulations.
• Experience leading and supervising teams, including mentoring, coaching, performance reviews, and work oversight.
• Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future is required.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or RPA solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, disaster recovery, or systems development methodologies.
