Management Consulting Senior Associate, Finance Performance

Location: Toronto, Canada

Compensation range: $79,000–$136,700 annually, plus discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Support finance organization assessments, target operating model design, business process improvement, enterprise transformation, and finance technology enablement.
• Advise on finance and accounting processes including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Source to Report, Acquire to Retire, and Forecasting & Planning.
• Deliver client engagements within agreed timelines, scope, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Use visualization and automation tools to modernize consulting service delivery.
• Monitor project progress, risks, milestones, and expected outcomes while keeping project teams and clients informed.
• Support business development, service development, industry research, client relationship management, and mentorship of junior resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in a large organization, professional services firm, or CPA firm.
• Knowledge of advising finance organizations on relevant business processes and experience in finance transformation, business process improvement, shared services, or technology enablement.
• Strong critical thinking, business process mapping, data analysis, problem-solving, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration or project tools including Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Lucidchart, and Smartsheet.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial systems, process redesign, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL Server, VBA, or Python.
• Experience developing proposals covering scope, approach, timeline, team structure, and fees.
• Experience serving clients across multiple industries, including technology, SaaS, media, real estate and construction, manufacturing, insurance, or banking.
• Six Sigma, PMP, or CPA certification.
• MBA or another relevant graduate degree.
