Business Analyst, HR Technology (Workday)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $106,000–$146,000 per year, with potential bonus and stock award eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead requirements discovery sessions with HR Centers of Excellence and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate HR business objectives into actionable requirements aligned with Workday capabilities and enterprise standards.
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, and stakeholder updates.
• Act as a liaison between HR COEs and GIS, validating the feasibility of proposed Workday solutions.
• Identify Workday enhancement opportunities that improve employee experience, data integrity, and process efficiency.
• Provide functional support for testing, release planning, and deployment.

Requirements

• Understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including hire-to-retire, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards.
• Familiarity with Workday reporting tools and capabilities.
• Experience working with HR Centers of Excellence, such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Shared Services.
• Expertise in HR business process analysis and redesign.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and produce clear written documentation.
