Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (3rd Shift)

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Repair, modify, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy industrial production equipment.
• Maintain CNC machinery, grinders, die-cast machines, heat-treating ovens, paint lines, robots, and related plant equipment.
• Rebuild and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and minor electrical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and maintenance drawings.
• Assist with moving machines and fixtures, producing tooling and dies, and fabricating sheet-metal guards, ducting, and spouts.
• Train, instruct, guide, and supervise apprentices while following company safety policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Valid state-registered Journey Worker's card in the Maintenance Mechanic Trade or at least 8 years of documented manufacturing mechanic experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of robots, Mazak CNC machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatically controlled equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, welding, hydraulic systems, and mechanical functions.
• Ability to use maintenance mechanic tools and measuring devices, plan work independently, and determine efficient completion methods.
• Ability to work safely on a manufacturing floor around moving and energized equipment, with frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
