Operations Management Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States; part-time internship. Willingness to travel or relocate to Murfreesboro, TN for Summer 2027 is required. Relocation assistance is provided for candidates whose permanent address is more than 50 miles from Murfreesboro.

What you will do

• Support production management personnel and participate in daily production meetings.
• Develop manufacturing process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Use value stream mapping to improve material flow and eliminate waste.
• Support ISO procedures, quality assurance, and accurate customer order fulfillment.
• Assist with continuous improvement events, 5S activities, leadership assignments, and special projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Operations or Manufacturing Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field throughout the internship.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or later.
• Must be willing to travel or relocate to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, for Summer 2027.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
