Indirect Materials Planner

Location: Chihuahua, Mexico; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Analyze inventory levels and identify replenishment needs for consumables, spare parts, and indirect materials.
• Generate, maintain, and update purchase requisitions.
• Organize consumable requirements by production area to support material planning.
• Follow up on requisitions pending approval and approved requisitions awaiting purchase order creation.
• Coordinate cycle counts and support inventory planning and control for the Tool Crib and Maintenance warehouses.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, Warehouse, and other relevant teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience in inventory planning and control, including calculating inventory levels and turnover.
• Knowledge of FIFO inventory practices and experience performing or coordinating cycle counts.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems and creating and managing purchase requisitions.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting inventory requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, or Warehouse teams.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to track multiple requisitions and inventory requirements simultaneously.
