IT Engineering Manager (Marketing Technologies)

Salary: $107,000–$171,200 per year, with possible bonus, commission, or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the infrastructure engineering team, manage direct reports, set performance goals, conduct reviews, and support professional development.
• Design and evolve infrastructure across bare-metal, colocation, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, platform refreshes, datacenter migrations, and legacy environment decommissioning.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on datacenter lifecycles, contracts, capacity expansion, power footprint, and infrastructure budgets.
• Build, configure, and troubleshoot systems directly alongside the engineering team while maintaining high availability.
• Develop operational processes, management reports, performance measures, and cost-control practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud operations, including supervision of technical staff or complex cross-datacenter roadmaps.
• Recent formal experience as a hands-on engineering manager, team lead, or senior technical authority while performing direct technical execution.
• Hands-on experience with Ubuntu, Puppet, MAAS, OpenStack, LXD, KVM, and ESXi lifecycle management.
• Experience with datacenter migrations, hardware procurement, Active Directory, enterprise certificate enrollment, identity tooling, CEPH, SAN or enterprise S3-compatible storage, and MicroCloud.
• Strong prioritization, business, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
