CE Engineer (Industrial Gases)

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Select materials for customer station designs and in-house piping systems.
• Prepare customer proposal budgets, cost calculations, and practical engineering proposals, including site visits when required.
• Schedule projects and lead on-site execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate project handovers, acceptance letters, closeout reports, and final costing.
• Lead technicians and contractor teams during installation, maintenance, and project activities.
• Coordinate with government departments on installation and operational approvals while maintaining AP safety standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in project management, engineering services, or maintenance in industrial gases, oil and gas, shipping, or M&E consulting.
• Experience with mechanical commissioning projects, P&ID layout drafting using AutoCAD, and proposal calculations involving flow rates and equipment sizing.
• Experience managing contractor teams for on-site tank and piping installation.
• Ability to work independently, own a car, and travel within Malaysia at short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic high-purity piping systems.
• Experience related to GDPMD or medical devices.
