Technical Sales Engineer (HVACR)

Location: Subang Jaya, Malaysia; support may also be provided to customers in Singapore and other countries as needed.

What you will do

• Handle technical queries from customers, field personnel, and internal colleagues across hirify.global products and services.
• Support HVACR system specification, design, product selection, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Own customer product testing in third-party and hirify.global laboratories, and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical seminars, and training on product application, installation, and new products.
• Develop customer-specific solutions using oil-free centrifugal compressors, variable-speed products, and integration solutions.
• Support upsell, cross-sell, and new-customer opportunities while sharing technical knowledge internally.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• At least five years of air-conditioning and refrigeration industry system development experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of variable- and fixed-speed compressors, system design, electrical systems, inverter drivers, controllers, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of oil-free compressors and system development.
• Good written and oral English, strong spreadsheet and MS Office skills, and excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Legal authorization to work in Malaysia is required; visa sponsorship will not be provided.
