Senior Engineer, New Product Introduction Engineering (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the transition of new products and processes from development through manufacturing release.
• Manage multiple NPI projects using the Accolade Stage-Gate process and deliver project plans, milestones, and commitments.
• Coordinate with R&D, Product Development, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and production teams to ensure manufacturing readiness and successful launches.
• Transfer products and processes between global manufacturing sites, including international technology transfers from the US to Malaysia.
• Develop equipment selection, capacity planning, cost reduction, waste management, process documentation, and qualification build plans.
• Drive safe, high-quality, manufacturable solutions and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong technical experience in process-gap resolution, including welding, fabrication, physical testing, and electro-mechanical design.
• Experience with NPI, manufacturing and process capability, structured Stage-Gate methodologies, and data-driven project planning.
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills and bilingual proficiency are required.

Nice to have

• Experience using SAP ERP for bills of materials, routings, and related documentation.
• Working knowledge of Accolade or similar Stage-Gate systems.
• Experience managing multiple projects across different development stages.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels.
