Engineer I, Mechanical Systems Engineering (Gas Purification)

What you will do

• Design mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for UHP gas purification systems.
• Size and select components to meet performance, safety, reliability, and compliance requirements.
• Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, procedures, and other technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, software, manufacturing, quality, compliance, supplier, and global engineering teams on system integration.
• Perform engineering calculations, analysis, simulations, testing, validation, qualification, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Support product transfer, production readiness, configuration control, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• One to two years of mechanical engineering experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools such as SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP, including BOMs, routings, and documentation, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, manage multiple projects, prioritize workload, and meet strict deadlines.

Nice to have

• DraftSight or AutoCAD 2D CAD experience.
• Advanced understanding of fluid dynamics and experience with process simulation software.
• Experience working in a global company with cross-site collaboration.
