Field Installation Representative (Gas Turbines)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Malaysia; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Plan and execute the removal, modification, rework, and installation of industrial gas turbine package controls and systems.
• Remove obsolete control systems, wiring, package components, conduit, cable trays, and tubing according to project specifications.
• Install new control consoles and lay out package system components, conduit, cable trays, and tubing.
• Rewire junction boxes, new components, and package interconnect wiring according to engineering specifications.
• Apply work permit procedures and comply with EHSS, quality, electrical, and Solar standards.
• Provide customer support and technical leadership on lower-complexity projects while supporting less experienced field technicians.

Requirements

• Knowledge of gas turbines, power generation principles, and oil and gas equipment.
• Understanding of electrical systems, control systems, interconnect wiring, conduit, cable trays, and tubing.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and apply systematic problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of oil and gas safety procedures, regulatory requirements, hazards, incident reporting, and personal protective equipment.
• Ability to provide quality customer service, respond to unexpected requests, and document customer issues.
• Availability to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Malaysia; visa sponsorship is not available.
