Business Development Executive (Industrial Gas)

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia; onsite

What you will do

• Drive profitable growth and achieve sales targets for Industrial Gas businesses in the assigned geographical area.
• Win new business, including new products for existing customers, and prepare business proposals and presentations.
• Identify new opportunities, prospect competitor customers through cold calling, and expand the customer portfolio.
• Manage existing accounts through regular contact with key decision-makers and maintain customer relationships.
• Support price increase programs, including defending and negotiating price increase proposals.
• Coordinate with the credit team, support collections, and develop strategies to recover lost business.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in a business discipline.
• 2–3 years of sales and technical experience in the sheet metal or metal fabrication industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driving license and possession of a car.
• Good English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
• Positive, proactive, and can-do attitude.
