Sr Manager, Network Security (Palo Alto)

What you will do

• Lead the global network security function, including engineers and technical leads, and build team capabilities.
• Define and execute the network security strategy, roadmap, governance, standards, and secure architecture for on-premises and cloud environments.
• Oversee Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, WAF, email security gateways, and PKI services.
• Ensure operational excellence across availability, performance, monitoring, incident response, and high-severity incident resolution.
• Drive automation and modernization, including firewall rule lifecycle management, infrastructure-as-code, network visibility, and analytics.
• Manage compliance, vendors, budgets, capacity planning, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of network security experience, including 5+ years in leadership or management roles within large global enterprises.
• Deep expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Prisma Access, and GlobalProtect.
• Strong experience with WAF, email security, and PKI solutions across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience with network architecture, Azure, AWS, GCP, Zero Trust, SASE, incident response, SOX, and NIST CSF.
• Strong leadership, communication, executive stakeholder management, vendor management, budgeting, and cross-functional delivery skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; relevant security certifications are also preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and security workflow automation.
• Automation and scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, and APIs.
• Experience leading large-scale security transformation initiatives.
• PCNSE, CCNP/CCIE Security, CCSP, CISSP, or GIAC certification.
