Industrial Hygiene Program Specialist

Location: Predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington, with some remote support subject to approval. The initial work site is 2440 Stevens Center Place, Richland, WA 99354.

What you will do

• Conduct industrial hygiene hazard assessments and IH surveys.
• Perform industrial hygiene monitoring, job hazard analysis, and exposure analysis.
• Lead IH sampling during outages.
• Support Environment, Safety and Health and Quality Assurance activities for the Hanford Field Office.
• Help maintain compliance and protect workers in a regulated nuclear cleanup environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene or Safety.
• 5–8+ years of industrial hygiene or safety experience.
• HAZWOPER certification or training.
• Experience with IH monitoring, job hazard analysis, and exposure analysis.
• Field presence and predominantly on-site work in Richland, Washington are required.
• Facility Clearance and, where required by the task, an appropriate DOE clearance.

Nice to have

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
