Manager, Operations Management (12-hr, Perm Day Shift) (Manufacturing)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; permanent 12-hour day shift in a clean-room manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Supervise employees across assembly, inspection, testing, and final-test operations for capital equipment, systems, and related components.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and improve cycle-time performance.
• Resolve operations issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate customer and vendor requirements.
• Optimize production capacity and implement processes for collecting, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing data.
• Drive Lean, Safety, and Quality improvements, including corrective actions.

Requirements

• Experience applying procedures and concepts within the relevant job family, with basic knowledge of related job families.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to support employee training, career development, performance management, hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting, and to work in tight or noisy environments.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
