Manufacturing Technician - Cartridge Assembly

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 20.00–23.65 per hour

What you will do

• Visually inspect, assemble, and test cartridges and sub-assemblies according to approved procedures.
• Follow work instructions and record production and test information.
• Use computer systems to run tests, download information, and record test data.
• Work with microscopes for extended periods and use hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and comply with gowning protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to assemble delicate components with good hand-eye coordination and stable hands.
• Ability to use and maintain hand tools and equipment and follow documented procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with Gas Chromatography columns or microfluidics assembly.
• Experience in electronic or medical device assembly.
